Jack Winger

Jack, an integral part of this gallery for many years,  is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania but has called Southern Arizona home for 40 years.  He served in the US Army, followed by a career as an Electrical Engineer at Raytheon Missile Systems.

You will find Jack's exquisite leather work here at the Leaping Lizard.  He has been a leather worker for several decades, using only the finest materials and taking great care in hand cutting amd preparing the leather, coloring it and hand stitching each of his creations.  He uses only the highest quality leather available and his techniques result in lasting beauty and durability.  In fact, his work lasts for decades. Jack makes just about anything you would ever want from leather in any color and any style.  In addition to the purses, wallets, passport holders, backpacks, luggage tags, key rings,and bookmarks you will find on display, he also makes dog collars for dogs sized from Beagle up, dog leashes, horse tags, etc.  Just ask, he'd be happy to help.​
